Chico Takes Regular Season Title to Face Stockton in 3 game series
After the Zephyrs beat the Giants, and Stockton took care of the Jaxx Tuesday evening, the Chico Lone Wolves captured the 2025 BACL regular season title with a 15-5 record. The Chico Lone Wolves will square off with the regular season runner up Stockton Pearl (13-6) in a 3 game series which will begin in Stockton this Saturday at Billy Hebert Stadium at 11am. Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) will be played at Butte College on Sunday (7/27) with the first game starting at 11am.

The number one seed for the BACL playoffs came down to the last game of the season and finished with the Gold Sox taking the 1 spot by less than a percentage point over the West Coast Kings. The Gold Sox got the ever-so-important first-round bye, and the rest of the teams would have to play and win 3 games in 3 days to take home the tile. Day 1 saw a lot of good baseball with the Game Prep Trojans, Menlo Legends, and the West Coast Kings coming away victorious. With the second round set, all teams focused on the prize. After a scorching day 2 in Marysville, the remaining two teams were the Gold Sox and the West Coast Kings. The Final day was going to be a battle. The energy coming from both sides was intense from pitch one. The Kings could get ahead early, and solid pitching kept the Gold Sox from gaining momentum. After a lot of pressure situations throughout the game, the Kings were able to add on and never looked back. The final score was 6-3, and the Kings have crowned the 2022 BACL Champions.
